Microsoft officially renamed Project Natal to “Kinect” for XBOX 360

After waiting for more than a year , Now Microsoft’s new motion-control system ,which was referred as Project Natal of Xbox 360 for a year ,renamed as “Kinect”.

Motion Control Games for Kinect

• Kinectimals features over 20 different virtual pets, including lions, tigers, and cheetahs, to play with or raise.

• Joyride has returned to life as a controller-free racing game.

• Kinect Sports will offer sport games to play: “boxing, bowling, beach volleyball, track and field, soccer and table tennis.” For each one, you will make motions to play the games.

• Kinect Adventures has a river raft and obstacle course to .

• MTV Games will release Dance Central, where you can cut a virtual rug.

Kinect will be having built-in camera, microphone with facial recognition capabilities, you can view pause play movies and games using your hand gestures or with voice control, the Kinect interface will feature a video chat app called, wait for it, Video Chat. here you can naturally talk to friends , it is expected to be the most advanced piece of gaming technology.Kinect expected release date is in November 2010, exact release date will be revealed at Microsoft E3 press conference.According to rumors its price range will be $140-190.
