After Sony Ericsson Yendo we have another slide-out QWERTY keyboard phone from Sony Ericsson named Txt pro. Txt pro dimensions are 93 x 52 x 18 mm and weight is 100 gm. Txt pro is announced in June 2011 and will be released around September 2011. Txt pro has a sleek design with very stylish looks. It looks little similar to Sony Xperia X10 Mini but where Xperia X10 Mini focused on speed and OS, Txt Pro aims at affordable price.
Sony Ericsson txt pro features 3 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with WQVGA 240 x 400 pixels resolution. The display screen has Scratch-resistant surface, Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, Single-touch input method and Proximity sensor for auto turn-off as added features. According to sources Txt Pro is powered by PNX-4910 processor with 100 MB internal memory, 64 MB RAM and has card slot for microSD that can be extended up to 32 GB. Txt Pro has similar Four corner user interface as seen in Xperia mini.
Txt pro comes with 3 megapixel camera with 2048×1536 pixels image resolution, Auto Focus, Geo-Tagging and it can record QVGA videos at 15 fps. I didn’t find any new features in Sony Ericsson txt pro.Like other smartphone’s 4-row QWERTY keyboard, txt pro contain small size. Though the all buttons are proper spaced for all finger but may create problem for big thumb user to operate.Without SIMcard you can not open Sony Ericsson and touch UI response slowly compare to other standard Android phone.
