Nokia strongly comeback in this year MWC with many phones, one of the them was Nokia N8 sucessor the one and only Nokia 808 Pureview camera phone with unbelievable 41 megapixel camera sensor, which is miles ahead from the other camera phones available in the market. Although some people still debating that Nos. of megapixel does not means superior picture quality but if you see the picture samples taken by the Nokia 808 phone you will be pretty amazed, The quality is so good, lets take a look at the phone.

Nokia 808 measures 123.9 x 60.2 x 13.9 mm in size and has 169 g weight. Nokia 808 PureView features 4 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with nHD 640 x 360 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass and Nokia ClearBlack display. Nokia 808 PureView specification is powered by 1.3GHz single core processor & Dedicated graphics processor with OpenGL 2.0 enables 3D with 512 MB RAM, 1 GB ROM, 16 GB storage which is expandable up to 48 GB with microSD slot. The 808 will run on Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 operating system.

Nokia 808 pureview features giant 41 megapixel camera (38 MP effective) with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, touch focus, Xenon flash and 7152 x 5368 pixels image resolution. It will have huge 1/1.2” sensor, ND filter, up to 3x lossless digital zoom, geo-tagging, face detection. Nokia 808 works on Nokia’s latest pureview imaging technology. In this new pixel oversampling technology, The large size sensor will allow the smartphones to capture high detail pictures at standard 5 and 8 megapixel resolutions while still providing the super clarity of large 38 megapixel images that users can crop down. Pureview Oversampling technique will combine the data from 7 megapixels neighboring, and combine it all in to a single image of 5 MP size with preserving all details and quality. So you can store high resolution images at lower size in you smartphone.

Nokia 808 PureView will have True 16:9 (2 MP, 5 MP [Default], 8 MP, 34 MP) and 4:3 (3 MP, 5 MP, 8 MP, 38 MP) Supported aspect ratios and resolutions. It is the first Nokia phone capable to record 1080p full HD video at 30fps with loss less digital zoom and separate LED for video recording. It will also have front VGA camera for video chat @30fps. This phone able to record in surround sound to any stereo headphones, using technology from Dolby and Active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic.

Nokia 808 PureView will be available in white, red and black colours. Nokia 808 PureView Price will be around €450 and According to some sources it will be launch in May 2012.
