HTC One Camera
HTC One Features an UltraPixel Camera, yes that is the name of HTC’s new camera technology. HTC taken a big risk with the Camera, time will tell, how much they have succeeded in their attempt. Don’t be surprise, while Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z boasts a 13 mega pixel camera, HTC One features only 4 megapixel camera with 2688 x 1520 pixels image resolution, autofocus and LED flash. According to HTC, The camera captures 300% more light.
According to HTC, although pixel size is lower, but the individual pixels are so bigger and can capture more detail, so picture quality is still better. The camera sensor is 1/3” in size and pixel size is 2µm. Other feature included are simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, OIS. Although I don’t think so that, it can produce better images than iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4 or Sony Xperia Z.
The camera is capable to record 1080p full HD videos at 30 fps. HTC One will have 2.1 megapixel front camera, which will also support full HD 1080p video recording at 30 fps. The camera functions includes HDR, stereo sound rec., video stabilization.
