T-Mobile officially announced its latest smartphone in myTouch series the HTC myTouch 4G slide.It will be aimed to take smartphone photography to new heights and will be a serious competitor to latest high end camera phones, its coming with 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and “zero shutter lag.”

HTC myTouch 4G Slide features a 3.7 inches WVGA super LCD capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 16 million colors. HTC myTouch 4G slide will have a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard for easy text messaging.It will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor supported with expandable microSD card memory upto 32 GB. It will come with Google Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system supported by SWYPE interface, HTC Sense 3.0 user interface and large number of applications available in Android Market.
HTC has marketed this mobile as an advanced camera phone with 8-megapixel camera in the rear side. This camera captures impressive images even under low light conditions with the help of dual LED flash, zero shutter lag, illuminated sensor and f/2 aperture lens. The camera also supported by Geo-tagging, face detection, panoramic photo tool, HDR and BurstShot, which takes multiple photos in quick succession. myTouch 4G Slide camera can capture content in full HD 1080p.The camera has 3264×2448 pixels image resolution and comes with Autofocus feature.

myTouch 4G Slide features include Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Multi-touch input method and Proximity sensor for auto turn-off. MyTouch 4G Slide specifications include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP & EDR, microUSB v2.0 and A-GPS support.
The HTC MyTouch 4G slide also has support for T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 4G network. It also offers preloaded T-Mobile TV, YouTube, Netflix aplications and T-Mobile KidZone features for filtering content. The Genius Button offers “one shot” voice commands , letting users quickly call, text, find a business, or search the web with help of Dragon Dictation from Nuance. It will be available available in 2 colors – black and khaki. The T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide price will be $200 with a two-year service agreement and it will available in July 2011. The phone will be available exclusively at T-Mobile retail stores, online at T-Mobile, and from select national retailers and dealers.
