It will give strong competition to Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla Altis and Skoda Octavia.The car is available in two variants Hyundai Avante and Hyundai Avante Diesel.
Hyundai Avante, a much awaited model in the Indian market – might be powered by a 1.6 litre, Gamma, DOHC, VVT, 4 cylinder, engine that produces a top power of 118 bhp at 6200 rpm and outputs a high torque of 156 Nm at 4200 rpm.Hyundai Avante model range is equipped with a 1591cc engine capacity, Gamma, DOHC, VVT, direct fuel injection, 4 cylinder engine is expected to lay out a max power of 118 bhp at 6200 rpm and delivers a peak torque of 156 Nm at 4200 rpm.
The engine is coupled with 6 speed automatic gearbox, the same gearbox is used in the diesel variant of the model. This diesel variant of Hyundai Avante might have a 1582cc engine displacement with CRDi. The engine output would be 115 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 260 Nm at 1900 rpm, power and torque values respectively.
