Verizon and Motorola announced and going to officially launch their new Droid series mobile phone on 19th May 2011, officially named Motorola Droid X2. The Motorola Droid x2 is the successor of popular phone Motorola Droid X, Motorola Droid X2 will have price tag of $199.99.Motorola Droid X 2 will be available online at www.verizonwireless.com and in Verizon Wireless Communication Stores on May 26 for $199.99 with a new two year customer agreement.
Motorola Droid X 2 will run on Google Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system which may be upgraded to Google Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) in future.Droid X2 will feature a 4.3 inch qHD display screen with 540 x 960 pixel resolution same as Motorola Bionic. Motorola Droid X 2 powered by a 1 GHz dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB memory. Motorola Droid X 2 is supported by microSDHC slot, so the memory could be extended up to 32 GB. So you would get total memory storage of 40 GB in Motorola Droid X 2.
Motorola Droid X2 will also have an 8 megapixel camera at rear end with 4x Digital Zoom, Auto Focus, dual LED Flash and mechanical shutter.This camera is capable of 720p HD video recording.Motorola Droid X2 Features includes CDMA 800/1900 MHz EVDO Rev.
