After the sucsses of hatchback car Nissan Micra, Nissan is planning to launch a sedan car in india named Nissan Sunny.Nissan Sunny Car will be launched with both petrol and diesel engine.Both petrol and diesel model will have 3 variants each.Nissan Sunny would be first launched in China and then in other nations including India.It is expected that Nissan Sunny will be launched by June 2011 in India.
It is expected that Nissan Sunny will be available in seven shades i.e. White, Red, Copper,Royal Black, Blue, Grey and Silver.The Nissan Sunny will avalable with 1.5 litre petrol and the same capacity 1.5 litre diesel engine producing 100 bhp of maximum power. The engine might produce around 146 Nm of torque like other 1.5 litre powertrains. The engine will be incorporated with a 5 speed manual gearbox. It is also clubbed with 4 cylinders and 16 valves. Nissan Sunny will have to face competition from the likes of Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Swift Dzire, Tata Indigo Manza, Ford Fiesta comparing prices and engine specifications.
