How to add Domains and Subdomains in Hostgator Account

How to add Domains in Hostgator Account

  1. Login to your  Hostgator webhosting Cpanel account
  2. Now scroll down and then click on add on domains link
  3. Then add your domain name URL without HTTP in new domain name field i.e. techstic.com
  4. Now enter remaining details, like document root, password and FTP Username
  5. Now Click on Add Domain
  6. You will receive addon domain creation message
  7. Congratulation, You have sucessfully added a domain for your website, which can be viewed in domain list in your Cpanel

 

How to add Subdomains in Hostgator Account

  1. Login to your Hostgator webhosting Cpanel account
  2. Now scroll down and then click on Subdomain link
  3. Now enter your subdomain name
  4. Now choose your domain name, under which you want to create your subdomain i.e. techstic.com
  5. Then if you want to add document root then enter here, like document root.
  6. Now Click on create
  7. You will receive subdomain creation message
  8. Then you can see your subdomain details in the list below
