How to disable 5 New Dynamic Ways to View Blogger Blogs

Spread the love
Last week we all folks of Google Blogger noticed an update at our blogger dashboard to allow site visitors to be able to view blogspot blogger blogs in interesting new ways.

This update uses the blogspot blog’s RSS feed, so it’s user friendly , Although as a blogger your custom content from your header, sidebars and footer are not visible in these view options.

Some bloggers are already prepared for this by placing additional content (i.e. follow back links or ads )  at the footer of each individual blog post.Total 5 new ways to view Blogger Blogs are offered by google. These 5 types of views are Flipcard, Mosaic, Sidebar, Snapshot and Timeslide.

These views require modern browsers such as Internet Explorer 8+, Firefox 3.5+, Chrome or Safari. Many elements of these views will not work in case you have an older browser.

Blogger currently offers five dynamic views for its public blogs. These views are only accessible if allowed for by the blog author.

Flipcard: available at [blogURL]/view/flipcard
Mosaic: available at [blogURL]/view/mosaic
Sidebar: available at [blogURL]/view/sidebar
Snapshot: available at [blogURL]/view/snapshot
Timeslide: available at [blogURL]/view/timeslide

But these dynamic views are disturbing for some bloggers, So if you want to disable these dynamic views, Follow steps mentioned below :-

  1. Login to your blogger dashboard.
  2. Click on Setting Tab in the dashboard.
  3. The click on Formatting sub tab and scroll down.
  4. Then see Enable Dynamic Views option, Set it to “No” instead of “Yes” from drop down menu.

  5. That’s it, Your blog’s dynamic views have been disabled.
