Indian Auto giant Mahindra and Mahindra has announced its new compact SUV car Mahindra Quanto in September 2012 which also known as Mahendra Mini Xylo in blogosphere. Mahendra Quanto aka Mahindra Xylo Mini is the compact version of its successful SUV model Mahindra Xylo. Mahindra Mini Quanto price starts around 5.82 lakhs. It will available in six different color shades Diamond White, Toreador Red, Java Brown, Mist Silver, Fiery Black and Rocky Beige.

The Quanto will directly complete with Maruti Ertiga, which is a sucessful model for maruti these days. It will come in 4 different diesel variants; Mahindra Quanto C2, Mahindra Quanto C4, Mahindra Quanto C6 and Mahindra Quanto C8.

Mahindra Quanto is B+ segment MUV car is powered by 1.5 liter twin turbocharged CRDi engine. The engine of this mini SUV will be available with a 5 Speed Manual Transmission gearbox. Mahindra Quanto C2 : C2 is the base model of Mahindra Quanto. It comes with 1.5 litre of diesel engine is capable of producing high 100bhp of power output with 240Nm of maximum torque. It has 5 speed manual transmission that helps the car to give out a decent 17kmpl of mileage. It comes with basic features as power steering and air conditioning.

Mahindra Quanto C4 : Quanto C4 has all the basic features, we have seen in C2.But the interiors of the car are a bit more advanced as compared to the C2. It has air conditioning system, power steering, power windows and remote fuel lid opener.
